(Rights Defense Network Information Center Reports) On August 25, 2026, this network learned: Ji Feng, a Guizhou 1989 student movement leader, independent thinker, and poet living in Yanjiao, was forcibly taken back to Guizhou by Guizhou Zunyi Domestic Security. At the same time, people in Hunan and other places have been approached by Zunyi Domestic Security, saying that a case had been filed against Ji Feng in March for "picking quarrels and provoking trouble." Currently, there is no news of Ji Feng, and he is in a state of enforced disappearance.

According to information from Ji Feng's friends: Ji Feng was taken away on the morning of August 20, 2026. Many people came at that time, and his luggage was packed and taken away. The landlord has emptied the house, and special police also arrived. It made quite a stir, and many neighbors around saw it. The handling agency was primarily led by the Beijing side, and the cause may be related to his online remarks.

Ji Feng's Biography: Born in the 1960s. Native of Loushanguan Town, Tongzi County, Guizhou. 1989 student movement leader, independent thinker, poet, senior planner, private corporate consultant. A student of the class of 1986 of the Chinese Department of Guizhou University, he served as the president of the Guizhou University "Autonomous Students Federation" during the 1989 student movement, for which he was imprisoned for over two years. Since then, he has been closely monitored and suppressed by the CCP authorities. From 1992 to the present, he spent ten years in Shenzhen and over twenty years in Beijing. During this period, he worked as a professional manager in foreign, state-owned, and private enterprises, holding almost all levels of job positions from salesman to department manager and general manager. He started his own company, operated projects, ran a cultural studio, worked as an independent planner, etc., all of which later failed due to man-made disasters that followed him like a shadow. His career scope spans twenty to thirty industries.

Long-term monitored and restricted from leaving the country, unable to speak out or go abroad, exiled across most of China, moved more than thirty times, and to this day, I still have no fixed place to eat or live."
