On January 6, 2026, after long-term tracking and surveillance of Falun Gong practitioners, the Licheng District Branch of the Jinan City Public Security Bureau in Shandong Province carried out a unified arrest operation. At least ten Falun Gong practitioners who were collectively studying the book "Zhuan Falun" were abducted. Hao Guangping was one of them. After her arrest, she was detained in the Jinan City Detention Center.
