(Rights Defense Network Information Center report) On April 25, 2026, this website learned of the case and biography of Ms. Zhang Aimin, a sentenced Falun Gong practitioner with no lower limbs in Jilin, as follows:

Zhang Aimin: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Jilin, born in 1962?, she is 64 years old in 2026. She is a disabled female worker from the Jilin West Train Operations Section of the Jilin Branch of the Shenyang Railway Bureau under the Chinese Ministry of Railways, with a first-degree disability, high-level paraplegia, and no legs. She formerly lived in Auxiliary Building No. 11, Tiedong Central Area, Tiezai, Sichuan Road, Yan'an Street, Jilin City. During the Chinese Communist Party's ongoing 27-year persecution, Zhang Aimin twice went to Beijing to petition and was arrested, detained, and extorted for money.

On April 14, 2025, police from the Changyi Branch of the Jilin City Public Security Bureau and the Minzhu Police Station forcibly broke open the door of her home near Sanjiaoxian in Changyi District, Jilin City, using an electric drill, and arrested her. She was later released. It was learned in April 2026 that Zhang Aimin was being detained and persecuted in Ward 10 of the Jilin Women's Prison, but the length of her sentence is unknown.
