(Rights Defense Network Information Center report)On April 27, 2026,this website learned:Ms. Hou Mila, a Wuhan Falun Gong practitioner sentenced to eight years, was forcibly sent to a brainwashing class immediately after completing her sentence on April 19, 2026。Early that morning,her family members went to wait at the entrance of Hubei Wuhan Women's Prison on Baofeng Road。However,contrary to her family's expectations,a vehicle from the Jianghan District Yusunshan Brainwashing Class, located in Wuhan's Caidian District, entered the prison grounds ahead of time,and, without her family members signing,forcibly took Hou Mila onto the vehicle for the Yusunshan Brainwashing Class。
Hou Mila:A female Wuhan Falun Gong practitioner,born in April 1961。She began practicing Falun Gong in early 1996,and benefited physically and mentally,and her hepatitis B, which she had suffered from for many years, was cured。She learned that one should conduct oneself according to the standards of Truthfulness、Compassion、and Forbearance,beginning at the end of 1999,Hou Mila was once arrested and administratively detained for 15 days at the Wuhan Women's Education Center。In December 2000,she was arrested by Division One of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau,and was subsequently sentenced to two years of reeducation through labor。
Hou Mila was arrested again on April 19, 2018,and was subsequently sentenced to eight years,during which she was brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party from the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center to Hubei Wuhan Women's Prison。
More than a month before the end of her sentence,her family members requested that the prison allow them to pick Hou Mila up and take her home when her sentence ended。However, prison authorities informed them that Hou Mila could not be picked up and taken home by her family,and that they had to wait at home for notification from the relevant local departments。
On April 19, 2026,Wuhan Women's Prison and the Wuhan Yusunshan Brainwashing Class,acting on instructions from the so-called “higher-ups”(illegal agencies involved in the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners),forcibly took Hou Mila to the Yusunshan Brainwashing Class, where she continued to suffer brainwashing persecution。

The Kunming Shijixincheng Christian Church case will hold a pretrial conference on September 2, 2026, with trial scheduled to begin September 16. Authorities raided a church gathering on April 12, taking preacher Yu Shaolin, Li Qun and Luo Ping into custody. The three were formally arrested on May 20 on suspicion of “organizing an illegal gathering” and are held at Guandu District Detention Center.

Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested. Eight pastors and co-workers remain detained on fraud and/or illegal business operations charges.
