Xu Yuzhen: A Falun Gong practitioner from Linyi City, Shandong Province. Female, she lives in Liuqing Subdistrict, Linyi City. At around 8 a.m. on May 12, 2025, Xu Yuzhen was arrested by police who broke into her home, which was also searched. She was detained at the Hedong Detention Center in Linyi. On January 23, 2026, she was tried by the Lanshan District Court. It was later learned that Xu Yuzhen was sentenced to eight years. In late May 2026, Xu Yuzhen was transferred to Shandong Women's Prison to serve her sentence. Her sentence ends on: May 11, 2033.
