Gai Yongguang:A male Falun Gong practitioner from Meihekou City, Jilin Province, born in 1958, aged 68 in 2026, he lives in Hongmei Town, Meihekou City。He began practicing Falun Gong in his early years。After the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, Gai Yongguang was criminally detained multiple times and subjected to torture at the Hongmei Town Public Security Sub-Bureau and Tieben Detention Center。

On July 19, 2024, Gai Yongguang, his wife, and their non-practicing son and daughter-in-law were all arrested and their home was ransacked by police from the Henan Police Station and Tieben Police Station in Meihekou, who broke into their home。Later, his wife, son, and daughter-in-law returned home one after another, while Gai Yongguang was detained at the Meihekou City Detention Center。He was persecuted there to the point that he could no longer walk, and several months later all news of him was lost。In May 2026, it was learned that Gai Yongguang, who had been detained for 1 year and 10 months, had been secretly sentenced to 7 years and 9 months, and that he had been transferred to Ward 9 of Jilin Prison in Jilin Province。His sentence ends on:April 18, 2032。
