Zhou Chuanying:A female Falun Gong practitioner from Harbin, Heilongjiang,born in 1961,aged 65 in 2026。Zhou Chuanying and her husband, Yang Zhenyi, were both retired employees of the Weihe Forestry Bureau in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province。They began practicing Falun Gong in their early years,and in July 1999,the Chinese Communist Party began its frenzied persecution of Falun Gong。Because they persisted in their belief in Falun Dafa's principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,Yang Zhenyi and Zhou Chuanying were repeatedly arrested and detained by Chinese Communist Party personnel and forced into displacement。
Ms. Zhou Chuanying was arrested by police on August 21, 2025,and has been held at the Yaziquan Detention Center in Harbin ever since。It was learned in April 2026,that Zhou Chuanying was tried by the Daoli District Court on March 18, 2026,and sentenced to 7 years and 6 months。Sentence term through:February 20, 2033。
