The details are hereby reported as follows:
Liu Bingfang: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Shengli Oilfield in Dongying City, Shandong Province. She began practicing Falun Gong in her early years. Since the Chinese Communist Party launched the persecution in July 1999, Liu Bingfang has been persecuted many times for adhering to her faith and telling people the facts. She was subjected to forced brainwashing, detention, and reeducation through labor, suffering serious physical and mental harm. In 2008, 54, the Shengli Oilfield “610” Office and the Binhai Public Security Bureau successively arrested Liu Bingfang and many other Falun Gong practitioners. Liu Bingfang was subsequently taken to the Wangcun Women’s Forced Labor Camp, where she was held in a forced-labor program for three years. At the labor camp, prison guards instructed inmates to subject her to such torturous abuse as “eagle torture” (depriving her of sleep for long periods), being forced to stand, being forced to watch brainwashing videos, forced brainwashing, being prohibited from washing, confinement in a small cell, and excessively long periods of slave labor.
On April 9, 2026, Liu Bingfang was arrested by plainclothes police officers from the Dongying Branch of the Dongying Municipal Public Security Bureau while she was telling people about Falun Gong at a bus stop in Dongying City. On April 22, she was formally arrested and detained at the Dongying City Detention Center. Two months later, the Dongying District People’s Court sentenced her to six months in prison. It was later learned that Liu Bingfang had been transferred to Shandong Women’s Prison. Her physical condition has since deteriorated, and she has developed symptoms including high blood pressure and tachycardia. Her sentence ends on October 8, 2026.

Authorities raided a church gathering on April 12, taking preacher Yu Shaolin, Li Qun and Luo Ping into custody. Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
