（Rights Defense Network Information Center report）On June 20, 2026，this outlet learned of the case details and biography of Qian Mingfen, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinhua, Zhejiang, who was sentenced to 5 years. The information is hereby reported as follows：

Qian Mingfen：A male Falun Gong practitioner from Jinhua, Zhejiang。Because he practiced Falun Gong，he was previously sentenced to prison twice，receiving a 4-year sentence in 2007 and a 4-and-a-half-year sentence in 2012。

On July 29, 2025, police summoned Qian Mingfen，and subsequently detained him，before releasing him on bail pending trial on August 6。Subsequently, the Procuratorate of Wucheng District, Jinhua, accused four practitioners—Qian Mingfen，the married couple Qian Yanhua，and Qian Endi，and Wu Chang’e—of “using a cult organization to undermine the implementation of the law”，and transferred the case to the Wucheng District Court。On April 10, 2026，the Wucheng District Court handed down its judgment：Qian Mingfen：5 years’ imprisonment and a fine of 40,000 yuan，Qian Yanhua：4 years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 yuan，Qian Endi：2 years and 3 months’ imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 yuan，Wu Chang’e：1 year and 3 months’ imprisonment，with a suspended sentence of 1 year and 10 months，and a fine of 8,000 yuan。It has now been confirmed that Qian Yanhua is being held at Zhejiang Women’s Prison in Hangzhou；the whereabouts of Qian Mingfen and Qian Endi are unknown, but based on past circumstances, they are very likely being held at Zhejiang No. 4 Prison。Qian Mingfen’s sentence runs until April 2031。
