Meng Huiling: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Qingdao’s Huangdao District, born in 1962 and aged 64 in 2026. She began practicing Falun Gong in her early years. Meng Huiling’s husband was also a Falun Gong practitioner and was persecuted to death several years ago.
On the evening of January 12, 2026, Ms. Meng Huiling’s home was raided and she was arrested by the Xuejiadao Police Station. She was subsequently detained at the Qingdao No. 2 Detention Center, located in Pudong Village, Jimo City, and was then subjected to criminal detention, formal arrest and prosecution. On August 14, 2026, she was sentenced to four years in prison. Sentence ends: January 11, 2030.
