(Rights Defense Network Information Center report) On July 28, 2026, this website learned of and is now reporting the case details and biography of Ms. Ji Fenglan, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong, who was sentenced to 4 years:
Ji Fenglan: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong, born in 1965 and aged 61 in 2026. A retired employee of the Jinan Locomotive Factory.
On September 29, 2025, Ji Fenglan and more than 40 other Falun Gong practitioners from Jinan, Shandong Province, were arrested by police from the Changqing District Public Security Sub-bureau. At least 19 Falun Gong practitioners were criminally detained and subsequently held in custody. Around early April 2026, Ji Fenglan was tried by the Changqing District Court. On June 26, 2026, Ji Fenglan was unlawfully sentenced to four years by the Changqing District Court. While Ji Fenglan was being held in the detention center, detention-center police forcibly administered blood-pressure-lowering injections to her every day. Her sentence ends on: September 28, 2029.

The Kunming Shijixincheng Christian Church case will hold a pretrial conference on September 2, 2026, with trial scheduled to begin September 16. Authorities raided a church gathering on April 12, taking preacher Yu Shaolin, Li Qun and Luo Ping into custody. The three were formally arrested on May 20 on suspicion of “organizing an illegal gathering” and are held at Guandu District Detention Center.

Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested.
