Yuan Shufang: A Falun Gong practitioner from Lushuihe Town, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province; Manchu; born in 1954; 72 years old in 2026; she lives on Beishan Street in Lushuihe Town, Fusong County. On July 29, 1997, she began practicing Falun Gong. During the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, Yuan Shufang was detained twice and suffered inhumane torture at the hands of detention-center and public-security-sub-bureau police. In 2004, she was sentenced to one and a half years in a reeducation-through-labor camp, where she was tortured and subjected to forced brainwashing.
Yuan Shufang was secretly arrested in 2025, and the outside world had received no further information about her. In August 2026, it was learned that she had been sentenced to four years and is currently imprisoned in Changchun Women's Prison. The specific process by which she was framed by the CCP judicial system and her situation in prison remain unknown. Sentence ends: 2029.

Case Details and Profile of Li Yuju, a Falun Gong Practitioner from Pingdu City, Shandong Province, Sentenced to 4 Years
A Rights Defense Network Information Center report said it learned on October 15, 2026, of the case of Li Yuju, a Falun Gong practitioner from Pingdu City, Shandong Province. Police arrested Li on January 7, 2026, while she was reading Falun Gong books with another practitioner, and she was held at Pudong Detention Center. On September 17, the Pingdu City Court sentenced her to four years in prison and fined her 20,000 yuan. Her sentence ends January 6, 2030.
