Wang Qinghua: A male Falun Gong practitioner from Changli County, Hebei Province, born in 1952 and 74 years old in 2026. He lives in Shijiatuo Village, Xinji Town, Changli County, Qinhuangdao City, and began practicing Falun Gong in 1996.
In August 2022, while explaining Falun Gong to children at a market in Anshan Town, Changli County, Wang Qinghua was arrested and detained by domestic security police from the Changli County Public Security Bureau. He was later released on bail pending trial and returned home. To avoid persecution, he was forced to leave home and become displaced. On July 31, 2026, Wang Qinghua was arrested by the Xinji Police Station of the Changli County Public Security Bureau and immediately detained at Changli Detention Center. On September 17, he received a verdict sentencing him to 4 years and 6 months by the Funing District Court of Qinhuangdao City. His sentence runs until January 30, 2031.
