Liu Yulian：A 77-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Linqing City, Liaocheng, Shandong，born in June 1949，and 77 years old in 2026。She lives in Panpengdian Village, Bachalu Town, Linqing City。She began practicing Falun Gong in 1998。After the Jiang Zemin faction of the Chinese Communist Party launched the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999，Liu Yulian and her husband, Pan Dongsheng, like countless Falun Gong practitioners，were subjected to continuous persecution by Chinese Communist Party personnel。Her husband, Pan Dongsheng, was illegally sentenced to three years of reeducation through labor。

Because Liu Yulian persisted in practicing Falun Gong，she was arrested by police on May 12, 2026，and around May 25 was transferred to Jinan Women's Prison to be persecuted。From the time elderly Liu Yulian was arrested until she was forcibly imprisoned，in just thirteen days，the outside world had no knowledge whatsoever of how the relevant public security, procuratorial and judicial authorities had completed a series of judicial procedures, including filing and investigating the case、reviewing and initiating prosecution、the collegial panel's trial、and the lawyer's questioning and debate in court。When her family pressed for answers，the police merely left them with one sentence：“She was sentenced to three years.”The sentence ends on May 11, 2029.
