(Rights Defense Network Information Center report)On May 15, 2026, this website learned of the case details and profile of Lü Tonggang, a Falun Gong practitioner from Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, who was sentenced to 3 years. They are reported as follows:

Lü Tonggang: A male Falun Gong practitioner from Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, born in 1975 and aged 51 in 2026, who lives in Chenghou Dong Village, Daming Town, Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Because he practiced Falun Gong, he was subjected to long-term surveillance and harassment, forcing Lü Tonggang to leave home and wander elsewhere.

After Lü Tonggang was arrested and his home searched by officers from the Ningcheng County Domestic Security Brigade and the local police station on April 29, 2025, he was held at the Ningcheng County Detention Center. In May 2026, it was learned that he had been sentenced to 3 years on January 7, 2026, and was subsequently transferred to Chifeng Prison to serve his sentence. Sentence ends: April 28, 2028.
