Chen Jinxiu:A female Falun Gong practitioner from Jiayu County, Xianning, Hubei, born in 1959 and aged 67 in 2026, she lives in Xinjie Town, Jiayu County, Xianning City, Hubei Province. For more than 20 years, she has repeatedly been subjected to abduction, detention, re-education through labor, and wrongful imprisonment and persecution by the Chinese Communist authorities because she persisted in her faith in Falun Dafa. Over the years, she was illegally sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of re-education through labor, abducted and detained nine times, sentenced to three years in prison, taken to brainwashing centers three times, and had her home ransacked many times. During her detention, she suffered various forms of torture, including severe beatings, brutal force-feeding, injections of unknown drugs, being forced to drink unknown liquids, intensive slave labor, being deprived of sleep for long periods, standing punishment, being handcuffed with her arms behind her back, and personal humiliation。
On the morning of April 2, 2025, police from the Jiayu County Public Security Bureau, police from the Xinjie Town Police Station, neighborhood committee personnel, and a group of people in a Xianning special police vehicle broke into Chen Jinxiu’s home in Xinjie Town, Jiayu County, abducted her again, and detained her at the Jiayu County Detention Center。 Subsequently, she was taken to the Xianning Zhenjitang Rheumatology Specialty Hospital, where she was detained for several months。 Afterward, she was transferred to the Wuhan Wuzhong Psychiatric Hospital in the Wenquan District of Xianning City and the Xianning Zhenjitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Drug Rehabilitation Medical Consortium—the so-called “Drug Rehabilitation Treatment and Recovery Center”。 After that, all information about Chen Jinxiu was lost。 Approximately half a year later, that is, at the end of 2025, two Wuhan Prison guards came to Chen Jinxiu’s younger sister’s home, claiming to have come to “learn about the situation”。 When the family members pressed them about where Chen Jinxiu was being detained, both prison guards refused to disclose it, merely saying that she had been sentenced to 3 years and 6 months。 Her sentence ends on October 1, 2028。
