（Rights Defense Network Information Center report）On June 30, 2026，this website learned of the case details and biography of Ms. Li Shanshan, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong, who was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months, and reports them as follows：

Li Shanshan：A female Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong。Li Shanshan is the legal representative of Shandong Jiannai Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd., whose main business is exporting agricultural and sideline products and food ingredients from Shandong Province; large quantities of goods are shipped to destinations worldwide through Qingdao Port。Her business was stable, but she was persecuted because of her faith in Falun Gong。Her husband, Yu Ya'ou, was originally a doctoral student at the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and had a gentle temperament。

Yu Ya'ou and Li Shanshan were arrested in July 2025，allegedly because they were “caught on camera distributing materials”。The two were detained at the Jinan Detention Center。To protest her unlawful detention，Li Shanshan went on hunger strike。The detention center force-fed her：twice a day, she was fed through a nasogastric tube，at mealtimes, police at the detention center put handcuffs and shackles on Li Shanshan，pushed her in a wheelchair to the detention center hospital，and each time she was force-fed by at least four police officers。

In June 2026, Yu Ya'ou and Li Shanshan were sentenced：Yu Ya'ou to one and a half years, and Li Shanshan to three and a half years。Li Shanshan's sentence ends in：January 2029。
