Zhao Xihua: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Shuangcheng District, Harbin, Heilongjiang, born in 1964, she lives in Group 3, Fourth Residents’ Committee, Changsheng Street, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. She began practicing Falun Gong in her early years. Because she persisted in her faith, she was previously detained in brainwashing classes and the Wanjia Re-education-through-Labor Camp, where she was subjected to torture and persecution.
On August 21, 2025, the Harbin Municipal Public Security Bureau deployed a large number of police officers and abducted more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners from Acheng District and Shuangcheng District. Among them, Zhao Xihua was arrested on the street. Subsequently, Zhao Xihua was criminally detained.
On April 23, 2026, after being unlawfully detained for more than eight months, Zhao Xihua was tried by the Daoli District Court of Harbin, but no verdict was announced in court. In June 2026, it was learned that Zhao Xihua was sentenced to 3 years and 2 months by the Daoli District Court of Harbin. Sentence to expire on: October 20, 2028.

Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested.
