Li Xiuying:A female Falun Gong practitioner from Dashiqiao City, Yingkou, Liaoning. The Dashiqiao City Public Security Bureau conducted mobile-phone surveillance and tracking of local Falun Gong practitioners for as long as half a year, and carried out a coordinated arrest operation on November 25, 2025. More than 20 police officers were deployed by the Criminal Police Brigade alone.
On November 25, 2025, the Meidu Police Station in Dashiqiao City arrested Li Xiuying. She was immediately detained at the Yingkou City Detention Center. She was subsequently criminally detained, formally arrested, and prosecuted. On July 16 and 17, 2026, the Zhanqian District Court held hearings in the case for two consecutive days, and on August 11 issued Criminal Judgment No. (2026) Liao 0802 Xingchu 72. Li Xiuying was sentenced to 2 years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan; sentence term until: November 24, 2027.
