Zhao Shuping:A female Falun Gong practitioner from Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province。On the morning of October 28, 2025,Zhao Shuping and her husband Xu Zhenguo, along with four other Falun Gong practitioners, were telling people about Falun Gong at the Niangniangzhuang market in Zunhua City when police from the Chengguan Police Station in Fengrun District arrested them and took them to the Fengrun District Public Security Sub-bureau。That day,personnel from the Fengrun District Public Security Bureau also went to their home and ransacked it。Zhao Shuping and her husband Xu Zhenguo were detained at the Tangshan No. 1 Detention Center。Both were subsequently subjected to criminal detention、formal arrest、and prosecution,On September 22, 2026 Zhao Shuping and her husband Xu Zhenguo were each sentenced to 2 years in prison and fined 8,000 yuan by the Zunhua City Court;their sentences end on October 27, 2027。

Case Details and Profile of Fu Juan, a Fellow Worker at Xi'an Abundant Christian Church Sentenced to 3 Years and 6 Months
A Rights Defense Network Information Center report says Fu Juan, a fellow worker and preacher at Xi'an Abundant Christian Church, was sentenced by the Baqiao District Court to three years and six months for fraud. She was detained in August 2022, formally arrested in March 2023, released on bail in April 2025, and taken back into custody in November 2025. She is serving her sentence at Shaanxi Women’s Prison, with her term due to end December 5, 2026.

Nanjing Rights Activist Su Li, Who Was Arrested, Sentenced to Probation and Released
A Rights Defense Network Information Center report said on October 1, 2026, that Nanjing rights activist Su Li had been sentenced to three years’ probation and released several months earlier. Police took her from her home on September 1, 2025, and she was later criminally detained on suspicion of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” The report said she had been held at Nanjing Detention Center and now has lung cancer.

Pastor and preacher An Yankui of Taiyuan Xuncheng Reformed Church placed under 15 days of administrative detention for “organizing illegal religious activities”
The Rights Defense Network Information Center reported that preacher An Yankui, pastor of Taiyuan Xuncheng Reformed Church, was taken from his home by the Taiyuan Public Security Bureau at about 10:30 a.m. on September 29, 2026, on suspicion of organizing illegal religious activities. His wife, Yao Congya, was told the next day that he had been placed in administrative detention for 15 days. In 2022, An was sentenced to one year in prison for illegally crossing national territory.
