Niu Guifang:A female Falun Gong practitioner from Shenbei New District, Shenyang, born on January 23, 1960, and aged 66 in 2026, she lives in Qianzhandun Village, Hushitai Subdistrict (formerly Hushitai Town), Shenbei New District, Shenyang。In March 1998, she began practicing Falun Gong, and during the Chinese Communist Party's ongoing persecution of Falun Gong for more than two decades, she was sentenced to three years in prison by public security, procuratorate, and court personnel in Shenbei New District in 2012, and suffered brutal persecution in the Masanjia ward of Liaoning Women's Prison。When she completed her three-year wrongful imprisonment and walked out of the prison gates on July 19, 2015, her vision had become blurred and she was unable to walk steadily。
On August 27, 2025, Niu Guifang was violently arrested at home by police from the Hushitai Town Police Station。 She was subsequently criminally detained、 formally arrested、 and indicted。 After two court hearings, it was learned in August 2026 that Niu Guifang had been sentenced to one and a half years in prison。 Her sentence ends on:February 26, 2027。

The Kunming Shijixincheng Christian Church case will hold a pretrial conference on September 2, 2026, with trial scheduled to begin September 16. Authorities raided a church gathering on April 12, taking preacher Yu Shaolin, Li Qun and Luo Ping into custody. The three were formally arrested on May 20 on suspicion of “organizing an illegal gathering” and are held at Guandu District Detention Center.

Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested. Eight pastors and co-workers remain detained on fraud and/or illegal business operations charges. The church said Wang Zhong’s bail requests were denied despite severe heart disease and his father’s death, while Wu Qiuyu remains separated from her two young children.
