Liu Wenhua:A Falun Gong practitioner from Chaoyang, Liaoning. A little after 7 a.m. on March 19, 2026, while Liu Wenhua was cycling to work, he was arrested by the Political Security Brigade of the Shuangta Branch of the Chaoyang Public Security Bureau, and his home was ransacked. Liu was subsequently detained at the Chaoyang Detention Center. He was then placed under criminal detention and later formally arrested and indicted. During this period, Shuangta Branch police said“A drone photographed Liu Wenhua putting up Falun Gong materials at a scenic area”。In July 2026, the Shuangta Court sentenced Liu Wenhua to 1 year and 6 months for the“crime of sabotaging the implementation of the law”,and he is to be transferred to Shenyang Dabei Prison on October 19, 2026, to serve his sentence。His sentence ends:September 18, 2027。
