Song Fuyuan: A male Falun Gong practitioner from Changtu County, Liaoning, residing in Taihe Village, Jinjia Town, Changtu County. On November 21, 2025, police officers from the Jinjia Town Police Station suddenly broke into his home, arrested him and ransacked the premises. He was detained at the Changtu County Detention Center. He was subsequently criminally detained, formally arrested and prosecuted. At 9 a.m. on March 4, 2026, the Changtu County Court held a hearing in Song Fuyuan’s case. On March 31, 2026, Song Fuyuan was sentenced to one and a half years in prison. Sentence ends: May 20, 2027

The Kunming Shijixincheng Christian Church case will hold a pretrial conference on September 2, 2026, with trial scheduled to begin September 16. Authorities raided a church gathering on April 12, taking preacher Yu Shaolin, Li Qun and Luo Ping into custody. Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested.
