(Rights Defense Network Information Center report) On April 28, 2026, this website learned of the case details and biography of Ms. Guo Zhimin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Qingdao, Shandong, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months. The details are hereby reported as follows:

Guo Zhimin: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Qingdao, Shandong, born in 1961 and aged 65 in 2025, she resides in Chengyang District, Qingdao. In 2010, Guo Zhimin began practicing Falun Gong.

On October 24, 2025, at a bus stop near the Chengyang Social Welfare Institute, Guo Zhimin was arrested by police from the Chengyang Police Station in Chengyang District for talking to young people about Falun Gong. She was subsequently criminally detained and held at the Jimo Pudong Detention Center. She was later formally arrested and prosecuted. On March 19, 2026, she stood trial at the Chengyang District Court. It was later learned that Guo Zhimin had been sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison. Her sentence ends on April 23, 2027.
