(Rights Defense Network Information Center report) On August 15, 2026, this website learned of the case details and biography of Ms. Wang Suqin, a 62-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Hongshan District, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months. The details are now reported as follows:

Wang Suqin: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Hongshan District, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, born in 1964 and aged 62 in 2026. In 1999, Wang Suqin began practicing Falun Gong. Later, because she persisted in practicing, she was subjected to multiple instances of forced labor and imprisonment.

On November 13, 2025, Wang Suqin went out to distribute Falun Gong calendars. At a restaurant in Hongshan District, she was reported and arrested by police from the Nanxinjie Police Station. The police released Wang Suqin to go home that day. But behind the scenes, they were plotting judicial persecution against her. On January 1, 2026, New Year's Day, police from the Hongshan District Domestic Security Brigade arrested Wang Suqin again. At the time, she was caring for her bedridden mother in her eighties. Wang Suqin was immediately detained at the detention center. She was subsequently criminally detained, formally arrested, and prosecuted. In August 2026, it was learned that Wang Suqin had been sentenced to 1½ years in prison by the Hongshan District Court. Her sentence runs until: June 30, 2027.
