The information is reported as follows:
Wan Taoying: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Jinxian County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, born in March 1962, and a native of Sanli Township, Jinxian County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Because she persisted in her Falun Gong faith, she was subjected to reeducation through labor once and sentenced to prison twice. She was tortured at the Jiangxi Women's Reeducation-Through-Labor Camp, leaving her almost blind; at Jiangxi Women's Prison, she was subjected to the "tiger bench" torture, and both of her thumbs were broken.
On August 5, 2025, Wan Taoying was abducted across provincial borders and her home was raided by police from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Cangshan District Public Security Sub-Bureau in Fuzhou City at her residence in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. She was subsequently detained at the Fuzhou City No. 2 Detention Center. In late July 2026, Wan Taoying was sentenced by the Minqing County Court of Fuzhou City to one year and three months. Sentence end date: November 4, 2026.
