Autumn Rain Covenant Church Elder Wu Wuqing and Brother Shen Xiaoqing Placed in Administrative Detention for 10 Days
(Rights Defense Network Information Center report) On September 13, 2026, this outlet learned that shortly after 3 p.m. on September 11, 2026, more than 30 police officers from the Hongpailou Police Station in Chengdu’s Wuhou District raided a reading group being held in the homes of 11 elderly Christians from the Autumn Rain Covenant Church. All 11 were taken to the police station. On September 12, nine brothers and sisters were released. The families of church Elder Wu Wuqing and Brother Shen Xiaoqing received police notices stating that the two were suspected of “illegally organizing evangelism” and were placed in administrative detention for 10 days and fined 500 yuan and 300 yuan, respectively.

Zhou Guoqiang, also known by the pen name A Qü Qiangba, has been released after completing a prison sentence, according to information learned on September 13, 2026.
