Prayer Letter from Pastor Wang Lin’s Wife, Sister Su Ziming: Let Us Cry Out Together Until the Walls Fall Down!
Dear family and friends:Peace to you!
Since the October 9, 2025 case,we are grateful that countless family members and friends have been paying attention to this small group of brothers and sisters。After more than seven long months of waiting, over the past month we have finally seen the wondrous grace God has prepared for us。
On June 18, 2026,nine fellow believers were not transferred for prosecution, but were released directly。On July 3,what shocked the entire world was that our beloved Pastor Jin Mingri was released and sent to the United States, where he was able to reunite with his family after eight years apart。Hallelujah, this is the work of God!
But,dear family and friends, the battle is not yet over, and eight fellow believers remain in detention, namely:Pastor Yin Huibin、Pastor Gao Yingjia、Pastor Wang Cong、Elder Wang Zhong、Pastor Liu Zhenbin、Pastor Lin Shucheng、Evangelist Wu Qiuyu、and my husband, Pastor Wang Lin。
Furthermore, their current detention violates the principles of fairness and justice required by law and the rule of law。
First, when Pastor Jin Mingri was transferred for prosecution on May 26,he was charged with only one offense——the crime of illegal business operations, and there were no charges whatsoever concerning the activities of Zion Church。Yet when the other eight brothers and sisters were transferred for prosecution on June 18,there were two charges, including fraud in connection with the activities of Zion Church。The same group of people、engaged in the same activities, were prosecuted under different charges, which is clearly unlawful。
Second,Pastor Jin Mingri was released and left the country on July 3。According to common sense,if the leader is not held criminally liable, the others should not be held criminally liable either,as this is required by the most basic seriousness and fairness of the rule of law。Pastor Jin and all of us believe that the Beihai case-handling personnel should immediately release the other detained individuals in this case in accordance with the law。But ten days have now passed, and as of today they still have not been released。The Beihai case-handling personnel have brazenly acted arbitrarily in full view of the world, despite the fact that these actions violate the most basic principles of legal and common-sense procedure, which is a stain on China’s rule of law。
Not only that, during this battle, the forces of darkness seem to have focused particularly on my husband, Wang Lin,and launched especially fierce and vicious attacks against him。Quite apart from the constant harassment of our children’s schooling and the repeated interference with our landlord before October 9,which left our family without a fixed home and wandering from place to place for half a year——in this case,he was the first to be arrested on October 9 and is also one of the eight fellow believers who remain detained to this day。I know he would certainly say:"To stand with the brothers and sisters I love until the end is the glory God has given me!"
Furthermore, among the nine fellow believers transferred for prosecution in this case(Pastor Jin on May 26 and the other eight on June 18),Wang Lin is the only one charged with both illegal business operations and fraud, while all the others have been charged with only one offense。According to the information currently known, after Pastor Jin Mingri was released, the Beihai police want to punish Wang Lin as the principal person responsible for Zion Church。I know Wang Lin would certainly say:”They really think highly of me,putting me in such a high position。”
It can be seen that the two transfers for prosecution carried out by the Beihai case-handling personnel,as well as a series of judicial activities, have completely departed from the basic facts known to all and do not meet the basic requirements of fairness under the law and seriousness in law enforcement。In such a major case, such absurd conduct makes us angry、sad、and sorrowful。What exactly is their motive, that the Beihai case-handling personnel dare to openly distort the facts、disregard justice、treat the law as a toy、and treat law enforcement as a child’s game?I hope the whole world will take notice of this absurdity and ridiculousness and demand that they enforce the law impartially and immediately release the remaining eight fellow believers。
Wang Lin likes to call me "my Furiosa",meaning that I am as tough as the female protagonist Furiosa in the film。Actually,I am merely a weak sister who came from the countryside、has no education and no connections, and is also very much a homebody。If I had not married such a man,it is possible that no one in this world would have noticed me throughout my entire life—from birth to death。But since God has given me such a husband,I must fight with all my strength for him and for my family。I call on all the family members and friends who care about us to stand with me at this time and bring Wang Lin home。He is a good husband、a good father、a good pastor, and a good man!
I appeal to everyone to pray and speak out with me,pleading with God to help us,and demanding that the Beihai case-handling personnel immediately release the remaining eight people;please also help me by sending this letter to all the pastors、family members and friends you know!
In the summer of 2025,our family faced severe persecution, and at that time many people, including Pastor Jin, urged Wang Lin to leave the country to avoid it。In August 2025,Wang Lin had already reached Hong Kong, but then returned from Hong Kong。He said to me:"I have thought it through, and whatever the outcome, I want to stay and stand with the brothers and sisters! It’s just that you and the children will have a hard time.。"He told me that to this day he does not regret this decision, and I do not regret marrying such a husband or regret that he made this decision。
May God hear his prayers and ours, inside and outside the prison walls, and let him and the seven fellow believers he loves gain their freedom together。Let us cry out together until the walls fall down。

Zion Church’s Open Prayer Letter Urging the Beihai Yinhai District Court to Immediately Release Wang Zhong and Wu Qiuyu
Zion Church said the Beihai Yinhai District Procuratorate indicted its “10·9” case on July 17, 2026, but a planned August pretrial conference and trial were postponed after lawyers protested. Eight pastors and co-workers remain detained on fraud and/or illegal business operations charges. The church said Wang Zhong’s bail requests were denied despite severe heart disease and his father’s death, while Wu Qiuyu remains separated from her two young children.
