Nantong Entrepreneur Zhang Weiguo Detained for 10 Days by the Chaoyang Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau

On the morning of September 4, 2026, Zhang Weiguo of Nantong, Jiangsu, was taken away by police officers from the Xiaohongmen Police Station at the reception point of the Jiangsu High People's Court in Beijing, on September 5, the Chaoyang Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau imposed a 10-day administrative detention penalty on Zhang Weiguo for the unlawful act of obstructing the performance of official duties。

It is understood that, Zhang Weiguo is the legal representative of Nantong Yuanjing Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., during litigation over a construction dispute at the Tongzhou District Court, he was targeted in a scheme by Yu Miaoqin, the presiding judge in the construction-dispute litigation case, who used unlawful means including fabrication and forgery, to falsely accuse and frame Zhang Weiguo, resulting in Zhang Weiguo being sentenced to one year in prison for the crime of picking quarrels and provoking trouble, Zhang Weiguo has gone to Beijing for three consecutive years to petition the Supreme People's Court regarding the wrongful sentencing case, but Yu Miaoqin and others have used public power, to retaliate against Zhang Weiguo for seeking redress, and to date the Supreme People's Court has still failed to accept the case in accordance with the law。

It was also learned that, Huang Juan, a woman from Tongzhou District, Nantong, who was seeking to defend her rights, was also forced into a private car with a Beijing license plate by unidentified individuals in Beijing on September 4, and has remained unreachable to this day。
