Prayer Request Letter Regarding Lawyer Li Xiaoming Being Forced to Voluntarily Cancel His Lawyer's License
The Beijing Chaoyang District Justice Bureau has pressured the Beijing Chaoyang District law firm I have just transferred to，forcing me to voluntarily cancel my lawyer's license。
The law firm director is facing enormous pressure，and sent me an agreement today to terminate my employment contract。I am willing to be persecuted because of my faith in the Son of God，this is the grace given to me，and I joyfully receive it。
However，I cannot tolerate this conduct by the Beijing Chaoyang District Justice Bureau，which tramples on the Constitution and persecutes freedom of religious belief，and I find it even more unbearable that they hide behind the scenes and use secret-police tactics such as threatening to “have tea” with me。
I hope they will issue documents and deal with me openly and aboveboard，rather than hiding behind the scenes and using covert tactics。
This is not just my personal tragedy，it is the reality of citizens of a country being casually threatened by secret police，and no one living in such a secret-police state where people are threatened with “having tea” can have genuine dignity or freedom of conscience。
Please pray for me，and ask God to illuminate the darkness。
