On March 27, 2026, this outlet learned that yesterday, lawyer Yu Kai, director of Shandong Xiaolin Law Firm, publicly held up a placard in front of the judicial authorities, filing a real-name complaint against Deng Huanli, director of the Qingdao Municipal Justice Bureau. The content of the placard directly accused Deng Huanli of allegedly committing the crimes of “abuse of power, practicing favoritism and failing to transfer criminal cases, and having huge amounts of property from unexplained sources.”
