（Rights Defense Network Information Center report）On May 14, 2026， this outlet learned：On May 13, 2026， Wu Cunming, a rights-defending petitioner from Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, was detained for five days by police in Zhenjiang’s Runzhou District on the grounds of “disturbing public order”。The reason was that on May 12, Wu Cunming went to Beijing’s National Bureau for Letters and Calls to express his demands through normal petitioning channels， after which police from Zhenjiang’s Runzhou District intercepted him in Beijing, brought him back to Zhenjiang, and detained him。
