Five Falun Gong practitioners, including Tang Xingying, Jing Guixiang, Guo Yunxiang, Jiang Junhua and Liu Guiping, from Fuyu County, Heilongjiang, sentenced
(Reported by the Information Center of Rights Defense Network)On June 14, 2026, this website learned: five female Falun Gong practitioners from Fuyu County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province—Tang Xingying、 Jing Guixiang、 Guo Yunxiang、 Jiang Junhua、 and Liu Guiping—were sentenced by the Fuyu County Court, including, Tang Xingying:2 years and 2 months, a fine of 5,000 yuan; Jing Guixiang:1 year and 11 months, a fine of 4,000 yuan; Guo Yunxiang:1 year and 9 months, a fine of 4,000 yuan; Jiang Junhua:1 year and 7 months, a fine of 4,000 yuan; Liu Guiping:1 year, a fine of 2,000 yuan。 At present, all five Falun Gong practitioners have been transferred to Heilongjiang Women’s Prison to continue their persecution。
These five practitioners were all abducted by police on July 20, 2025。 That day, Fuyu County police arrested a total of 21 Falun Gong practitioners。 It is reported, that this large-scale roundup was a coordinated operation planned over a long period by the Fuyu County Political and Legal Affairs Commission and the Domestic Security Brigade。 It was recently confirmed, that the five Falun Gong practitioners Tang Xingying、 Jing Guixiang、 Guo Yunxiang、 Jiang Junhua、 and Liu Guiping had been sentenced and sent to Heilongjiang Women’s Prison。

Case Details and Biography of Sun Chao, Christian Church Preacher in Qujing, Yunnan, Criminally Detained
Sun Chao, a Christian preacher at Philadelphia Church in Qujing, Yunnan, was transferred to criminal detention on August 7, 2026, after completing a 12-day administrative detention for preaching the Gospel. Authorities reportedly cited suspected “illegal organization of gatherings.” Sun, who has epilepsy and requires regular medication, is detained at Xuanwei City Detention Center. His wife, Zhao Ying, has appealed for attention to his health and rights.

The writer received a letter from Xu Zhiyong dated August 21, 2026, saying his outdoor time had improved to 10 a.m. daily for 30 minutes. Correspondence had also become smoother than during the previous two months. The writer considers the matter closed for now but plans to continue asking about Xu’s basic living conditions. Xu reportedly liked hand-drawn pictures sent with a letter in late July.
