Wu Qiuyu’s Prison Letter in the Zion Church Case (July 2026)
I’m so happy for Pastor Jin that he is free!
Recently, I’ve been doing all right here,it has also been raining quite a lot,and the temperature has dropped, the hottest time was in May and early June, once the rainy season arrived,it couldn’t get very hot。At the same time, late May and early June are the hottest period in Beihai。When it is hot, I sweat, but I can still endure it。
I do what I can to be kind to others, and I also help people write letters home, this kind of service is very important to them, they tell me about family matters, which shows great trust, though these things are difficult to talk about、and emotions are not easy to express。
Regarding the issue with my menstrual period here, the correctional officer told me,many people here experience this problem, and that it will be fine once they leave。Mine has just lasted a little longer, the doctors are not familiar with psychiatric medications。They also do not dare to administer hormones rashly, fearing a conflict with the psychiatric medication, basically, they take no action, and the pills do not work。

The author rejects a 206-page judgment that, they argue, treats belief in ending one-party dictatorship as unconstitutional and criminal. The author refuses to apologize for these beliefs, accepts possible imprisonment, and vows to continue pursuing democracy, accountability for the 1989 massacre and a democratic Hong Kong and China.
