Tang Zhifei：A Falun Gong practitioner and software engineer from Hefei, Anhui。Born in 1982。He lives in the Jinse Chitang residential compound in Shushan District, Hefei， graduated from a prestigious university， formerly worked as a software engineer at a prominent company， has outstanding technical abilities， and settled in Hefei。Both of his parents are retired doctors。
Tang Zhifei was arrested by police at his home on August 3, 2023。Police said that he had “circumvented the Great Firewall” and posted videos related to Falun Gong on overseas platforms， where they received more than 6,000 views。Subsequently， he was sentenced to 8 years on trumped-up charges， and in 2024 was imprisoned at Suzhou Prison， where he was subjected to torture and abuse including beatings、 pepper spray、 and confinement in an iron cage， causing severe physical and psychological trauma。When his family visited him in 2025， he was actually pulled to the visitation area by prisoners in a small metal cart used to transport garbage。His sentence ends on：August 2, 2031。
