Li Dequan: Male, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jilin City, born in 1959 and 67 years old in 2026. He resides in Xinghua Community, Changyi District, Jilin City. In 1998, he and his younger brother, Li Dexiang, began practicing Falun Gong at the same time. Since the Chinese Communist authorities began their large-scale persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, Li Dequan has cumulatively spent ten years in wrongful imprisonment.
In April 2024, he was again arrested by police at his home, detained and framed. In May 2026, news emerged that he had again been sentenced to six years in prison. He is currently being held at Gongzhuling Prison in Jilin Province to serve his sentence. This is the third time he has suffered wrongful imprisonment. His sentence ends in April 2030.
