Falun Gong practitioner Wang Guiling from Jinzhou, Liaoning, sentenced to 5 years, abused at Jinzhou Nanshan Prison: septuagenarian placed in a small cell for 20 days

In July 2026,relatives went to Jinzhou Nanshan Prison to visit the 70-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Wang Guiling,and were shocked to discover that, compared with the previous month's visit, he had lost more than ten jin in weight,with sunken, fleshless cheeks,both arms reduced to two thin sticks,and his entire body almost skin and bones。Wang Guiling told his family,that he had been placed in a small cell by the prison for 20 days of persecution because he “refused to take medicine”。
Wang Guiling's Profile:A male Falun Gong practitioner from Jinzhou, Liaoning,born in 1956,70 years old in 2026,he is a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinzhou's Linghe District and a former employee of the Jinzhou Beishan Construction Company。Previously,Wang Guiling persisted in practicing,was unlawfully sent to re-education through labor four times and unlawfully sentenced once,and suffered torture and persecution twice in succession at the Jinzhou Re-education Through Labor Camp。
On April 14, 2024,Wang Guiling was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Taihe Branch of the Jinzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau,and detained at the Jinzhou City Detention Center。On December 30, 2024,the Linghai City Court in Jinzhou issued its judgment:Wang Guiling was sentenced to 5 years in prison and fined 7,000 yuan。His sentence runs until:April 14, 2029,and his pension was also suspended。
After Wang Guiling appealed in accordance with the law,the Jinzhou Intermediate Court still unlawfully upheld the original judgment。Wang Guiling was subsequently first sent to Panjin Prison,and then transferred to Jinzhou Nanshan Prison on May 23, 2025, to serve his sentence。
