An Jingtao: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, approximately 60 years old in 2026, residing in Longsha District, Qiqihar City. She began practicing Falun Gong in her early years. As early as February 2001, she was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison, and was released in June 2005. In March 2006, she was arrested again and sentenced to 9 years in prison, where she suffered various forms of inhumane torture at the Heilongjiang Women's Prison.
An Jingtao was arrested by police from the Beijuzhai Police Station on May 10, 2025, and detained in a detention center; in June, she was extorted out of 10,000 yuan and released home on “bail pending trial.” On December 15, 2025, she was arrested again and detained in a detention center. Her trial was held on March 10, 2026, and it was later learned that she had been sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in prison, with her sentence ending in July 2030.
