Jian Yicong: A female Falun Gong practitioner from Deyang, Sichuan, born in May 1963, aged 63 in 2026, and living in Mianhe Village, Huangxu Town, Jingyang District, Deyang City. Because Jian Yicong persisted in her Falun Gong faith, she was harassed, monitored, abducted, and detained by Chinese Communist Party personnel. She has been sentenced three times, with a cumulative sentence of 9 and a half years.
On the morning of March 17, 2026, police surrounded Jian Yicong’s residence to abduct her. To avoid being taken away by the police, Jian Yicong jumped from the second floor and was seriously injured and taken to hospital. In April, Jian Yicong was transferred from the hospital to the Deyang City Detention Center. On June 4, the Jingyang District Court held a trial for Jian Yicong at the detention center. On August 19, the Jingyang District Court sentenced Jian Yicong to 4 years and 6 months in prison and fined her 15,000 yuan. Sentence through: September 16, 2030.
