On July 6, 2024,Cheng Xiaofeng was criminally detained by the Hetang Branch of the Zhuzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau on suspicion of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble”,He was subsequently formally arrested,and held at the Zhuzhou City Detention Center in Hunan。In August 2026, it was learned that Cheng Xiaofeng had been transferred to Hunan Chishan Prison to serve his sentence。
