Cheng Yurong: Dalian Falun Gong practitioner, female, resident of Ganjingzi District, born in 1949, aged 77 in 2026. She was previously sentenced to 4 years in prison in 2018. On September 2, 2025, Cheng Yurong was reported while distributing Falun Gong materials to private cars at Liu Jiaqiao Market. She was subsequently arrested by police from the Shahekou District branch of the Dalian Municipal Public Security Bureau, and her home was searched. She was then detained at the Dalian Yaojia Detention Center. She was subsequently criminally detained, formally arrested, and prosecuted. On the afternoon of February 4, 2026, the Ganjingzi District Court held a video hearing for Cheng Yurong. On March 31, 2026, her family obtained the verdict: Cheng Yurong was sentenced to 3 years and 2 months in prison and fined 20,000 yuan. Her sentence runs until: November 1, 2027.
