Yan Hong：A female Falun Gong practitioner from Langli Town, Changsha County, Hunan Province，born in 1963 and aged 63 in 2026。She was formerly director of the Langli Residents’ Committee in Changsha County，was deeply trusted by the public，had received honors and commendations awarded by the government，and was recognized as a good person。Because she persisted in her belief in Falun Gong，she was sentenced to 6 years by the Chinese Communist Party in 2001。In 2015，she was sentenced to another 3 and a half years。She suffered torture and persecution in prison，which seriously damaged her eyesight。Yan Hong has developed symptoms of high blood sugar and high blood pressure as a result of the persecution。
Yan Hong was tried on the morning of June 5, 2026，her defense lawyer presented a well-reasoned defense on her behalf，and she defended herself as not guilty。However, the Liuyang City Court still sentenced her to 3 years and 2 months，and her family has appealed。Her sentence ends on：August 4, 2029。At present，Yan Hong is being held at the Fourth Detention Center of Changsha City。

According to a Rights Defense Network Information Center report, Fan Wei, a Falun Gong practitioner from Benxi, Liaoning Province, was sentenced to four years in prison. Arrested on August 20, 2025, while posting Falun Gong stickers near Wiegner Winery in Pingshan District, he was later prosecuted. The Mingshan District Court tried him on May 29, 2026, and sentenced him in late July, with his term ending August 19, 2029.

Case Details and Profile of Ms. Xu Dongyu, a 62-Year-Old Falun Gong Practitioner from Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, Sentenced to 1 Year and 3 Months
On September 9, 2026, the Rights Defense Network Information Center reported that Xu Dongyu, a 62-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Gangkoujie Town, Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, was sentenced to one year and three months. Domestic security police arrested her around November 2025. After more than ten days at a hotel, she was transferred to Jiujiang City Detention Center, then detained, arrested and prosecuted. She was expected to enter Jiangxi Women’s Prison, with her sentence ending in February 2027.
