Liang Jianjun: A Falun Gong practitioner from Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, and a male teacher at the Vocational High School in Lechang City, administered by Shaoguan City; born in 1972 and 54 years old in 2026. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1995. For persisting in practicing Falun Gong, Liang Jianjun was sentenced to five years from 2017 to 2022 and suffered persecution at Beijiang Prison.
In mid-July 2025, Liang Jianjun and his wife, Cao Liping, were arrested by police. Liang Jianjun was detained at the Lechang City Detention Center, while Cao Liping was detained at the Shaoguan City Detention Center. During the past year, while they were detained at the detention centers, the outside world had no knowledge of their circumstances or the persecution they suffered. In mid-August 202, it was learned that Liang Jianjun had been sentenced to 3 years by the Lechang City Court. Sentence term through: July 2028.
