Qiao Chenglin: A male Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong Province, born in May 1951, he lives in Dayou Village, Caofan Town, Zhangqiu District, Jinan. At the end of 1995, Qiao Chenglin began practicing Falun Gong. After the CCP began its frenzied persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, Qiao Chenglin was continually subjected to harassment, home raids, and detention by CCP personnel from Dengshibaozi Town and Xiaotun Village. He was sentenced to 1 year in 2022.
Qiao Chenglin was arrested and detained by police on January 13, 2026, for posting Falun Gong materials, and stood trial at the Zhangqiu District Court on May 18. It was later learned that he had been sentenced to 3 years by the court and was sent to a Shandong Province prison on August 19, 2026. His sentence ends on: January 12, 2029.

A Rights Defense Network Information Center report says Liu Shengping, a 73-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Beijing’s Xicheng District, was sentenced by the Haidian Shan Hou Court to two years in prison and fined 3,000 yuan. Arrested on October 29, 2025, she was held at the Haidian District Detention Center. Her sentence runs until October 28, 2028. The report says she had previously experienced repeated detentions and six and a half years of imprisonment.
