Xiao Bo:A male Falun Gong practitioner from Weihai, Shandong。On October 27, 2025,while Yu Jingtao、Ding Huimin、and Xiao Bo were binding Minghui calendars in a rented residence,personnel from the Political Security Brigade of the Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone Public Security Sub-Bureau suddenly broke in and arrested them,and searched their homes。Subsequently,Yu Jingtao、Ding Huimin、and Xiao Bo were criminally detained,and held in a detention center。One month later, on November 27, 2025,Wang Deshui, a Falun Gong practitioner from Changfeng in Weihai’s economic zone, was also arrested at his home and had his residence searched by Political Security personnel。At that point,all four Falun Gong practitioners had been detained and framed。
Later, the four practitioners were framed and brought before the Rongcheng City Court。The court subsequently held four secret hearings,and members of the public were prohibited from attending each hearing。In June 2026,they were sentenced as follows:Yu Jingtao received a fixed-term prison sentence of 6 years,Wang Deshui received a fixed-term prison sentence of 3 years and 6 months,Xiao Bo received a fixed-term prison sentence of 3 years,and Ding Huimin received a fixed-term prison sentence of 1 year。Xiao Bo’s sentence ends on October 26, 2028:

Sun Chao, a Christian preacher at Philadelphia Church in Qujing, Yunnan, was transferred to criminal detention on August 7, 2026, after completing a 12-day administrative detention for preaching the Gospel. Authorities reportedly cited suspected “illegal organization of gatherings.” Sun, who has epilepsy and requires regular medication, is detained at Xuanwei City Detention Center.
