Zou Hualan：A Falun Gong practitioner from Fengcheng Subdistrict, Changshou District, Chongqing，female，born in 1951，aged 75 in 2026。She is a retired employee of the former Changshou District Agricultural Machinery Company。She began practicing Falun Gong in 1998。Since the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999，Zou Hualan has been sent to reeducation through labor three times、sentenced to prison three times，detained multiple times、and held in brainwashing centers，for a cumulative total of approximately 14 years in detention。During this period, she suffered various forms of torture and persecution：prolonged exposure to the sun during the hottest days of summer，being provided only extremely thin bedding and a small amount of clothing during the coldest days of winter，being denied sleep for long periods，being forced to stand or maintain a military stance for long periods，and being starved for long periods, receiving only very small amounts of plain rice，her body suffered severe abuse，and she was repeatedly at death's door。
On March 6, 2026, Zou Hualan was abducted by police from the Gelan Police Station in Chongqing，and was framed using fabricated and untrue materials。It was learned in September 2026，that the Liangjiang New Area Court had sentenced her to 2 years and 3 months on August 18，with her sentence ending on June 5，2028：

Initially detained in Jinan’s No. 3 Detention Center and later Zhangqiu District Detention Center, he was sentenced by Zhangqiu District Court to 1 year and 6 months. He was transferred to a Shandong prison on July 22, 2026.

Yan Ling, a 79-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Tongzhou District, Nantong, Jiangsu, was arrested on August 27, 2025, by police from the Tongzhou Domestic Security Brigade and detained in Nantong Detention Center. In September 2026, it was reported that she had been sentenced to three years and transferred to Nanjing Women’s Prison. Her sentence runs through August 26, 2028.

Case Details and Biography of Ms. Pan Xiuhua, a Falun Gong Practitioner from Urumqi Sentenced to Three Years
A September 4, 2026, Rights Defense Network Information Center report detailed the case of Pan Xiuhua, a Falun Gong practitioner from Urumqi, Xinjiang, born in 1954. It said Pan had faced repeated persecution, including detention, reeducation through labor, brainwashing classes and more than a decade in prison. After being reported while speaking publicly about Falun Gong, she was arrested with Luo Chuanmei, prosecuted and sentenced to three years. Her sentence runs until March 2028.
